The CT-2632W is an IEEE 802.11b - compliant 11 Mbps wireless PC card. It meets the needs of small business and corporate users who require an 11 Mbps wireless connection to an existing LAN. The technology is also ideal for use with cable modems, xDSL, or SOHO applications. In the typical wireless configuration, an Access Point (CT-2455W) connects to a wired network. Users access the LAN via CT wireless adapters in their notebooks or desktops. The wireless LAN adapters interface between the client Network Operating System and the Access Point. In a peer-to-peer configuration, one wireless card is needed for each computer, but no Access Point is required.
